Public Notice

Agreement:

By parking on these premises you acknowledge that you have seen, read and agree to these Terms and Conditions, which are enforceable as part of the parking contract between you and EasyPark (as manager of the premises).

Parking Fees:

Parking on these premises requires payment of the posted fees for parking privileges. The fees can be found on the parking meter or EasyPark’s website, as well as mobile payment applications used for payment. You are responsible for ensuring that the correct licence plate number is entered.  If you encounter a meter that is out of order, you must proceed to another meter to make payment or use one of the available mobile payment application options.

Payment Requirement:

You are required to make payment within 5 minutes of parking your vehicle before leaving the premises. Paying for parking does not alleviate your responsibility to park legally and in accordance with posted signs at all times. Failure to pay the required fees will result in a violation notice being issued.

Violation Penalties and Administrative Charges:

If payment is not made, you will be subject to a fine of up to $250.00 and administrative charges imposed by EasyPark. These fines and administrative charges form essential terms of the parking contract and will be specified on the violation notice. They must be paid in accordance with and before the deadline provided for in the violation notice. All fines and administrative charges are subject to change without notice.

Enforcement:

In addition to the express terms stated herein, EasyPark may take any and all steps that are standard practices for parking enforcement. This includes towing the vehicle if there are more than 3 outstanding violations on record for the licence plate. Any vehicle towed will be at the vehicle owner's risk and expense.

Parking at Own Risk:

By parking in these premises you agree that the owner(s) of the premises and EasyPark are not responsible for custody of, damage or loss to, or theft of vehicles or property on these premises. All persons using or otherwise present upon these premises assume all risk of loss, theft, damage or injury to their persons and vehicles (and accessories or contents thereof), including without limitation resulting from the use of any electric vehicle charging stations.

Collection and Use of Personal Information:

For the purpose of collecting unpaid parking fees, fines and administrative charges, EasyPark will ask the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia to provide the name and address of the registered owner of the vehicle to EasyPark and its agents. EasyPark’s privacy policy can be found at easypark.ca/privacy.  

Restrictions on Use:

The parking of unlicensed or uninsured vehicles, vehicles that EasyPark reasonably believe to pose any kind of hazard or have hazardous contents, the general storage of vehicles, and the repair or maintenance of vehicles on the premises is prohibited. All signage at the premises must be observed.  

Non-compliance:

EasyPark reserves the right to tow vehicles off these premises at the vehicle owner’s expense for any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions. EasyPark reserves the right to waive any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time in its sole discretion. Any such waiver will not be construed as a general waiver or waiver of the same term on a subsequent occasion.

Governing Law:

You agree and hereby submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of the courts of the Province of British Columbia and acknowledge that you do so voluntarily and are responsible for complying with local laws.
